Welcome to Bank Top Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast in Hartington.
If you're looking for a relaxed and friendly rural retreat in the Peak District with a touch of luxury
where you can take a deep breath and unwind following a day out exploring the beautiful Derbyshire Dales,
then Bank Top Farmhouse, is the B&B for you.
This working farm is home to cows and calves, sheep and lambs and a sheepdog named Jilly, and has been in the family for three generations.
After your journey enjoy a homemade cream tea, relax and watch the lambs playing in the fields. In the evening, enjoy some of the clearest night skies in England and listen to the owls.
The rooms are warm and pampering, all en-suite. The beds so comfortable that you may find it difficult to get up for breakfast, which is a leisurely affair served till 10.00 with the best local sausages and bacon.
Hartington Village is just half a mile away, a short walk along a secluded country lane.
Being centrally situated for visiting the Peak District, Bank Top Farmhouse is ideal for exploring this beautiful area. There are several walks from the house, around the surrounding dales and valleys.
Geocachers will find plenty of hidden caches in local beauty spots.
